This process introduces children into the world of knowledge, letters, and the process of learning.
Significance
It is an opportunity for children to begin or restart their education in the presence of Linga Bhairavi. The process is also an appeal to Devi that the child uses the power of knowledge constructively.
A special annual Vidyarambham is also conducted on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami, or Dussehra.
Process Details
This process is open to children between the ages of 2 and 12 years. To support those over age 13 who are working or studying towards a career, register for Vijaya Arpanam at Adiyogi's Abode.
All children’s processes include:
Adorning the child with a blessed garland and tilak.
An aura cleansing process to remove negativities.
Vibrant chants to invoke Devi’s grace.
An offering of samarpanam and arati for the wellbeing of the child and family.
Tying of a consecrated Devi Abhaya Sutra to the child’s wrist for their growth and stability.

Since this is a one-step registration process, if you were unable to complete the payment in the first attempt, you will need to fill up the registration form again. We recommended that you register and make the payment from a desktop or a laptop.
If you are not able to register even after a few attempts, we recommend using an alternate browser and email ID, and also clearing the page history / caches.
You can bring offerings such as flowers, fruits, incense or other items. Please ensure that the offerings are not made of plastic and that the edible offerings have no eggs and are vegetarian. These offerings can be made either before or after the ritual.
